I just want to say that my name is Barry Cooney. I’m the director of New Pass Recovery. I have 34 years of personal recovery. I had a spiritual awakening on November 12, 1991, at the Tacoma Rescue Mission—that God was going to kill me if I didn’t get sober. So that night, I walked out of the mission, and I haven’t looked back. God delivered me from the bondage of alcohol and drugs.
New Paths Recovery is a place for those looking for worship and a place of change. God changed my direction 34 years ago and I am surrendered to help others find that miracle I was blessed with.
This program is a beacon of hope for those struggling with various challenges in life.
I am truly blessed to be part of this ministry to support those suffering with addictions.
